In 1993, Envision created innovations in digital radiography along
with intelligent robotic crawlers and manipulators. In Alaska, hundreds
of miles of pipeline have been inspected using our digital radiography
imaging systems, operating year-around in one of the most difficult
environments on earth. The use of Envision’s corrosion x-ray and inspection
equipment has resulted in savings at a figure of millions to the petroleum
industry, and significant protection for Alaska’s arctic environment.
In January 2000, Envision announced the first in a series of digital
radiography products based on CMOS sensors. The underlying technology
for these image system products was developed and patented by NASA’s
Jet Propulsion Lab in 1995. If you need radiology information, visit
